Artwork Programs and Formats
We can accept 300 dpi artwork
produced on the Macintosh® using Adobe Illustrator™ v10.0 or earlier or
Photoshop® 7.0 or earlier, Macromedia Freehand® v10.0 or earlier or Quark X
Press® v4.1 or earlier and supplied to us via email (service@wincraft.com)
or on a CD, DVD, 3.5” floppy , 128mb or 230MB optical or Iomega 100MB Zip.
Sending artwork for production involves following the steps below:
1. Gather all material used to create the file… making sure to include all
placed files, (PICT, TIFF, EPS).
2. Include all fonts used in the file…remember that PostScript™ fonts
require two parts 1) bitmaps (screen fonts) and 21) outlines (printer fonts) to
operate correctly. Be sure to include both. If possible convert all types to
path or outlines to avoid having to send fonts.
3. Compress all files being submitted… Use STUFFIT!, Compactor Pro, Sick
Doubler, NowCompress, WinZip or similar utility. Always save files as a
self-extracting archive (.sea or .sit) before saving to disk. If art is created
using a platform other than Macintosh® please contact customer service for
specific instructions.
